S. Sargsyan congratulated Assyrians in Armenian on New Year

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Assyrians in Armenia on the occasion of their New Year, press service of Armenian President informs. The congratulating text especially says: 

“I cordially congratulate the Assyrians of Armenia on the occasion of New Year – Kha B’Nissan.

I wish you success and all the best. Let this New Year fill the homes of the Assyrians of Armenia with happiness and faith. Let the Assyrian community of Armenia, which is a part of world-spread Assyrians, continue to strengthen, developing their centuries-long culture and literature, raising the standards of living and increasing their public weight. 

The holiday of spring awakening and fecundity is close and beloved to us, Armenians, as well as to all communities living in Armenia. We join in our Assyrian friends’ joy.
