S. Ohanyan and J. Heffern discussed the possibilities to get back bodies of Armenian pilots

On November 18 Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan hosted US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern. Press service of Armenian Defense Minister informs about this. 

During the meeting the sides discussed the incident of hitting of Armenian helicopter by Azerbaijanis and spoke about the international efforts to take back the bodies of Armenian pilots who were in the helicopter.

Remind, that on November 12 at about 13:45 Azerbaijani side violated ceasefire regime on the Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijani border on Eastern part and hit MI-24 helicopter at the air-territory. The NK helicopter was carrying flight as a part of the military exercises.
Press service of NKR Defense Army informed about this. The incident took place too close to the frontline.

Armenian pilots haven’t been taken from the neutral zone yet.
