Bako Sahakyan held a Security Council meeting

On 24 December Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan convoked a meeting of the Security Council. Central Information Department of the Artsakh Republic President informs about this. 

Issues related to organization of combat duty and improvement of engineering structures as well as the process and results of the Telethon-2014 and programs to be implemented within its frameworks were on the agenda of the consultation.

Defense minister Movses Hakobyan delivered a report on the first question. The President gave corresponding instructions to the defense ministry and the Cabinet of Ministers for proper realization of the stipulated programs in the field of army building, underlining that securing high level of military readiness of the armed forces had always been among the most significant tasks of the state.

Touching upon the second question of the agenda the Head of the State assigned the Cabinet of Ministers and corresponding structures to secure the target use of the funds allocated to the construction of the Vardenis-Martakert highway, close cooperation between the concerned bodies and wide mass media coverage of the carried out activities.
