Serzh Sargsyan sends condolence letter to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolence to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt over the massacre committed by the Islamic State extremist group which left 21 innocent Egyptian Christians dead. Press service of Armenian President informs about this.

“During this difficult time of grief and sorrow, I express my full support for you, the friendly people of Egypt and for the relatives of the victims, wishing them steadfastness and strong spirit.

The Republic of Armenia strictly condemns any terrorist act grounded on manifestations of racial, religious and other forms of intolerance and reaffirms its continued commitment to keenly supporting the international community in the fight against this evil,” reads the RA President’s letter of condolence.
