Bako Sahakyan meets OSCE MG co-chairs

On 18 February Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (the Russian Federation), Pierre Andrieu (France), James Warlick (USA) and accompanying them officials. Central Information Department of the Office of Artsakh Republic President informs about this.

Issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement and situation along the borderline were discussed during the meeting.

President Sahakyan noted that gross violations of the ceasefire regime by Azerbaijan acquired a new, more negative quality and manifestations, which represented a serious threat to the peace process, the work carried out by the mediators and the maintenance of stability in the region, adding that such a policy could not have any impact on the will and determination of the Artsakh people to build a free, independent state and its strengthen its security on a continuous basis.

NKR minister of foreign affairs Karen Mirzoyan, personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and other officials partook in the meeting.
