Armenian Genocide victims are commemorated in Istanbul

The Kurdish People’s Democratic Party (HDP) initiated events commemorating the Armenian Genocide on the evening of April 23. ArmenianGenocide100.org web-site informs about this referring to News.am.

HDP’s Sisli district headquarters and Youth Coordination of Istanbul staged a march commemorating the 1915 massacres. They visited the houses of some of the Armenian intellectuals who marched to death on April 24, 1915 and laid flowers there, Agos informed.

The participants carried banners with the inscription “Together – 1915-2015” and “Confront the Genocide,” as well as photos of Armenian intellectuals.
