Serzh Sargsyan hosted Georgian Defense Minister Tinatin Khidasheli

The President Serzh Sargsyan received  the Minister of Defense of Georgia Tinatin Khidasheli on February 1.

The sides discussed biletral diplomatic relations and the strengthening of the Armenian-Georgian defense cooperation and other issues on regional security.

The President of Armenia and Georgian Defense Minister stressed the importance of high-level visits, which, in their opinion, clarify the prospects of cooperation, promote to find practical and quick solutions to agenda issues and are a new impetus to bilateral relations.

The President emphasized the Armenian-Georgian partnership, as well as the importance of a balanced approach to the issues of maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The Minister Tinatin Khidasheli noted that they highly appreciate the ancient and good neighborly relations of the Armenian and Georgian peoples.

According to the Minister nothing can separate the two friendly nations as they started their path together millennia ago and will go on together.

The Defense Ministers of Armenia and Georgia presented the Armenian-Georgian agreements on military cooperation to the President of Armenia.
