Heavy-going motorways in Armenia

The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergencies reports about close and heavy-going roadways across the territory of Armenia.

The highway between the village Sotk and Nagorno-Karabakh’s village of Karvatchar is heavy-going.

Chambarak-Drakhtik (Gegharkunik region) motorway is close.

Goris-Sisian highway (Syunik region) is also heavy-going due to ice crust.

The Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles, reports the Georgian Interior Ministry’s Emergencies Department.

Most of the other roadways are trafficable.

Drivers are recommended to avoid taking the above roadways unless an urgent necessity.

Road cleaning is underway.
