Brussels hosts next round of RA-EU talks

The second round of talks on forming a new legal basis for relations between the European Union and Armenia was held in Brussels on February 17.

As reports The Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Information and Public Relations Department of Armenia, the Armenian delegation was headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister Karen Nazaryan.

The first part of the talks was devoted to the issues of cooperation in the areas of political dialogue and reform, justice and freedom.

This, as well as the results of the negotiations on trade and investment of the future agreement were summarized at the plenary session at the end of the same day, during which the two sides registered progress and outlined the scope and timing of the future discussions.

The sides emphasized the need for coordination and harmonization of work between the negotiating teams on various aspects of the draft resolution.
