Czech Republic supports Georgian agenda to join NATO

The Czech Republic supports the Georgian agenda to join the NATO and is ready to contribute in reaching its objective, “Armenpress” reports citing the TASS agency.

The Czech Republic also emphasizes the success between Georgia and the EU over the economic and political aspects, the Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka made the statement after the meeting with the Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

According to him, Georgia has a very responsible approach to the issue of joining NATO.

” Democratic reforms are being implemented in the State which are an important prerequisite for membership in the Euro-Atlantic Union ,” he said.

Senior officials of both countries discussed issues related to the trade and economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and Georgia as well.
