Edward Nalbandian meets with Australian human rights representative

According to the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, within the framework of the UN Human Rights Council’s 31st session in Geneva had a meeting with the Australia’s special envoy for human rights Philip Ruddock on Monday.

Plans for promoting a closer cooperation within international organizations were under consideration by the sides.

They both considered joint steps towards developing bilateral relations, highlighting the importance of arranging high-ranking visits.

The two officials highly appreciated the Australian-Armenian community’s role in expanding cooperation.

They exchanged thoughts over regional developments and problems, and possible solutions as well.
