Armenian women in Parliament two or three times less than in Muslim countries-Larisa Alaverdyan

Armenia’s first Human Rights Defender Larisa Alaverdyan March 8 is a day of struggle for women’s rights.

According to her, women around the world have achieved many things, but there is still a lot to do, especially in Armenia.

“The women in the Armenian Parliament are two or three times less than in many Muslim countries. Second, although the ruling party has made the women’s involvement in parliament a goal, but the list includes women who are not known for their fighting strong character,” said Larisa Alaverdyan.
