Russian Defense Ministry has invited about 80 countries to International Security Conference

Russian Defense Ministry sent invitations to more than 80 heads of state and defense ministers, as well as the UN and OSCE at the fifth international conference on security issues, which is to take place on April 27-28 in Moscow.

Members from the CSTO and CIS leadership are also to attend the conference, generally more than 500 guests are expected to attend the conference, reports the Russian Defense Ministry.

Participants will focus on issues related to the methods against the terrorism, military cooperation aimed at strengthening global security,
European security and the situation in the Asia-Pacific area.

Discussions and debates will be organized on the ongoing situation in the Middle East and Central Asia and new challenges of the international security.
