President Sargsyan congratulates Yezidi community in Armenia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message Yezidi community in Armenia on the occasion of New Year-Malake Taus. According to the press service of Armenian President, the message especially states: 

“Dear representatives of Armenia’s Yezidi community,

I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of New Year – Malake Taus.

For centuries, Armenian and Yezidi peoples have been together both in times of happiness and troubles. Our predecessors have fortified these unity and friendship on the battle field as well. Today we, all the Armenian citizens enjoying equal rights, build our country – our common home – and your patriotic contribution to that is considerable.

Let New Year bring you and your families successes affording you an opportunity to develop and progress and let our peoples’ unbreakable friendship be stronger”.
