Large-scale military exercises are launched in Nakhchivan

Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched large-scale military exercises in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Azerbaijani Press Agency informs about this. 

According to the information by Azerbaijani Defense Ministry the exercises are being held in accordance with the combat readiness plan for 2014.

The exercises are being held with the participation of leadership of the Defense Ministry. Personnel of the units of Army Special Forces, aviation systems, air defense forces, missile and artillery troops, including modern armored vehicles were involved in the exercises.

The exercises will check the level of combat readiness of units in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
