Armenian newspapers today: first session of the newly-elected Armenian Parliament is coming

“Zhokhovurd” newspaper writes referring to its well-informed sources that Armenian National Congress seems to boycott the first session of the Armenian Parliament on May 31. According to the source seven deputies of the Congress will not participate in the session where Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will also attend. The newspaper intends that the ANC may also do not participate in the official ceremony at the Central Electoral Committee tomorrow when the mandates will be handed.

But ANC informed that there is no final decision on the issue yet.

According to “Hraparak” Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will announce names of Armenian Prime Minister, speaker of Armenian National Assembly and the names of other Ministers on May 30, during the RPA executive session.

As “Haykakan zhamanak” writes Armenian Constitutional Court will continue discussing the application by Armenian National Congress which calls on to deny the results of the Armenian Parliamentarian elections on May 6. “It is supposed that the Constitutional Court will try to end the discussion of the application and will announce its decision till the end of the day. But before it Constitutional Court has to continue the discussion of the application in order to provide the formal side of the case.”
