Earthquake hits Azerbaijan

An earthquake has hit Azerbaijan in the morning hours today. The tremors occurred at 6:40 am local time, Azerbaijani Press Agency reports. 

According to the source, the quake was centered in Gabala District, where the magnitude reached 5.5, while from Ganja (Gandzak) to Aghstafa it was recorded to be 3.5. No destruction or injuries have been reported in the city.

Gabala has been shaken off by three tremors in the morning today.
