Putin and Aliyev met in Astrakhan

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Kremlin official web-site writes about this.

In particular, the leaders discussed the current state of bilateral trade, economic and cultural ties.

In addition, during the meeting, an intergovernmental agreement on mutual protection of investments was signed in the Presidents’ presence. Russian Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev and Azerbaijani Economic Development Minister Shahin Mustafayev signed the document.
