16% increase in passenger flow, as compared to September 2013

As compared to September 2013, a 16% increase in passenger flow was observed at the “Zvartnots” International Airport of Yerevan in the 9th month of 2014. In September 2014 the Airport served 197 602 passengers against 169 776 of the past September. Press service of “Armenia” International Airports” CJSC informs about this.

The number of flights in the same period rose by 13%. Instead of the 1599 flights in past September, the number of flights operated in September 2014 was 1807.

If 27 airlines operated regular flights to Zvartnots in September 2013, now their number is 33. Also most of the airlines increased frequencies to all destinations, which resulted in reduction of air ticket prices.
