Victims of Sumgait massacres were commemorated in France

On February 24 a holy mass was served at Armenian Apostolic Church St. Hovhannes Mkrtich in Paris to commemorate the memory of Sumgait massacres. French religious leadership, fellow-workers of Armenian Embassy, NKR mission and the members of Armenian Community in France attended the ceremony. Press and information department of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.
After the holy mass was ended the participants organized a rally towards the Paris Yerevan Park and put garlands at Armenian great composer Komitas’s statue.

At the same time holy masses were served at nearly twenty Armenian churches in France.
