On 5 February Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited textile, sewing, carpet and wool processing workshops operating in the capital and got acquainted with their work. Central Information Department of the Office of Artsakh Republic President informs about this. 

The Head of the State also visited a number of new workshops of light industry and the IT development center to be put into operation soon.

The President highlighted the development of various branches of industry and information technologies, noting that those directions had serious potential and enabled to enter the international market with competitive products, generating at the same time new workplaces in the capital.

President Sahakyan gave concrete instructions to the heads of concerned bodies for the proper implementation of the activities.

The President was accompanied by National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghoulyan, vice prime-minister Arthur Aghabekyan and other officials.
