A. Hovhannisyan: This unprecedented tension will have painful consequences for Azerbaijan

Speaker of Armenian Defense Minister Artsrun Hovhannisyan made announcement which especially says: “Azerbaijan made unprecedented provocation on the border with Artsakh and the provocation caused tension. Azerbaijani side announces nonsense according which Armenian helicopters attacked and they answered. The parts of the helicopters show that it was not armed. The situation continued remaining tensed even when the helicopter was down. Moreover, Azerbaijani side did not let the pilots be approached. This terrible tension will have painful consequences for Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani authorities are responsible for the consequences.

Mayor Sergey Sahakyan was the commander of staff. The further information will be provided”.

Remind, that today at about 13:45 Azerbaijani side violated ceasefire regime on the Nagorno-Karabakh-Azerbaijani border on Eastern part and hit MI-24 helicopter at the air-territory. The NK helicopter was carrying flight as a part of the military exercises. Press service of NKR Defense Army informed about this.
