Armenian solider is killed on the border

According to the information by Artsakh Defense Army press service, the situation was tensed on the frontline between Artsakh and Azerbaijani troops on January 19, at night. According to the source, Azerbaijani side violated ceasefire regime for about 220 times during the night and about 2000 shots were recorded towards the Armenian border-keepers. 

At the same time, Azerbaijan Armed Forces attempted sabotages for eight times. Armenian side managed to prevent them and the enemy withdrawed with losses. 

Armenian soldier Suren Khachik Pilosyan (born in 1995) was wounded deadly while protecting borders of Motherland. 

Artsakh Defense Ministry shares the terrible pain of the loss with Suren’s family, relatives and fellow-servicemen. 

The details of the accident are being investigated.
