Russia is worried about tensions on Armenian-Azerbaijani border
"Russia urges Azerbaijan and Armenia to reduce the tension and avoid taking steps that can lead conflict escalation". According to the Russian media, spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich announced about this during a briefing in Moscow.
"The co-chairs are due to meet with the Armenian FM today in Munich to discuss the situation along the contact line of troops and at the Azerbaijan-Armenia border. In our turn we urge the parties to the conflict to reduce the tension and avoid taking steps that would lead to conflict escalation,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated.
