Iraqi official: meetings in Yerevan were effective

On September 7 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan hosted the delegation led by Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Raush Nuri Shaueis. Press and information department of Armenian MFA informs about this.
Welcoming the guest Minister Nalbandian ensured that the visit of Iraqi delegation would be another stimulus for the Armenian-Iraqi friendly relations and underlined that the visit had a serious political meaning. Minister also hoped that the agreements which were got during the visit would strengthen Armenian-Iraqi relations.
Iraqi Deputy PM thanked for the acceptance and noted that he was very much impressed with the results of the visit and evaluated it as historical. According to the guest the Iraqi delegation aimed to get agreements for the cooperation and underlined that the meetings in Yerevan were really effective.
Iraqi official reconfirmed the decision by his Government to open Embassy in Yerevan.
The sides also discussed some issues of bilateral interest and spoke about some international and regional events.
