Iranian MFA is in Syria for the negotiations
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus, to hold talks with the country’s officials on the Syrian crisis. Iranian Press TV informs about this.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011. Thousands of people have been killed since that time because of the armed clashes. The opposition claims that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad must resign. The latter refuses to do it as considers the rebels are directed by the Western forces.
Damascus says outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorists are behind the unrest while the opposition accuses the security forces of being behind the violence.
