Armenia’s major tax-payers

The index of last year’s top 1,000 taxpayers was published by Armenia’s Tax Service, indicating the amount of their taxes and duties.

Gazprom Armenia tops the list of taxpayers, with total payments of 42,649,961 billion Armenian Drams (USD1 = AMD488).

The Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Plant comes next whose taxes amounted to AMD 27,505,901 billion.

The telecommunication company K-Telecom (VivaCell MTS) is the third with AMD 18,628,800.
The fourth company on the ranking is Alex Grig which paid AMD 18,255,286 in 2015.

Next down the list are the the Vorotan Hydropower Plant and the Electric Networks of Armenia, with total taxes amounting to AMD 16,955,671 and AMD 16,494, 203, respectively.

Armenia Telephone Company is the seventh biggest taxpayer with AMD15, 466,983.

The Armenian-Canadian Joint Venture Grand Tobacco (AMD 13,699,722), the major oil retailer and wholesaler Flash (AMD 12,751,28) and the CPS Oil Corporation (AMD 9,465,202) conclude the top 10 list.
