UN asked for $ 1.4 billion to provide education of 4 million Syrian children

The UN humanitarian agencies and their partners ask for $ 1.4 billion to provide the education of children in Syria and neighboring countries.

As reports “Armenpress” it is said in a joint statement which’s started circulating in the World Headquarters on the eve of the 5th Annual International Conference, which is to open in London on February 4.

“On the eve of the meeting the UN agencies and humanitarian groups are calling for 1.4 billion dollars aid to help to provide the schooling and extracurricular education of the children in Syria and the neighboring countries”, is said in a press release, ITAR-TASS reported.
