Avakov talked about Saakashvili’s offer to head the government

The Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov in an interview with “Mirror of the week” said that Mikhail Saakashvili offered him to head the government.

According to Avakov, the governor of Odessa Petro Poroshenko has become an opposition for Petro Poroshenko.

Minister informed that a few days later after the incident of throwing the glass full of water towards Saakashvili, Saakashvili offered him the post of prime minister.

“Let’s make a deal. You will be the Prime Minister, and I will be the first Deputy Prime Minister … You are the most successful Minister, aren’t you?”, Avakov said citing Saakashvili’s words, reports “Armenpress”.

Saakashvili called Arsen Yatsenyuk’s government “a den of corruption and grave of reforms” and announced that he is waiting for the government’s resignation on February 16, when the report of the executive body will be submitted.

According to the opinion poll conducted by the “Rating” Sociological Group, Yatsenyuk’s resignation protects nearly 70% of Ukrainian society, while only 8 percent gave a positive assessment of his work.

According to the survey, the most popular politician in the country is Mikhail Saakashvili.
