Syrian army to capture IS ‘capital’
The Syrian army is expected to capture Rakka, which is regarded the heart of a terrorist group "Islamic State," as long as no intrusion by Turkey and Saudi Arabia is carried out. According to ТАСС agency, this was stated by one of the Syrian army generals.
"I can not come up with real forecasts.
But if no Turkish and Saudi Arabia military invasion had been carried out I think we would have been in Rakka at the end of this year,"the general of a Syrian army said.
According to the General, the key problem of the Syrian Army is that they need to keep the situation along the Turkish border under full control to cut off the rebels' supply routes from there.
