Edward Nalbandian presents NKR conflict to NATO’s Deputy Assistant Secretary General

Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on March 2, hosted NATO’s Deputy Assistant Secretary General Jonathan Perishin on defense planning and programming, reports the Ministry’s press service.

Minister Nalbandian highly appreciated the achievements of the ongoing Armenia-NATO cooperation within the framework of various projects.

NATO’s Deputy Secretary General expressed his gratitude for the reception, saying that the relations between Armenia and NATO are on a high level and stressed the importance of implementation of Armenia-NATO 2014-2016 Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).

The sides referred to the Armenia-NATO political dialogue, Armenia’s effective participation in international peacekeeping operations, the implementation of reforms in the armed forces, the cooperation to prevent emergency situations.
