Azerbaijan unable to pay salaries of its lobbyists
Dan Burton, considered a key lobbyist for Azerbaijanin in Washington refused to continue to defend Azerbaijan, as Baku has not paid the promised salary for a year, reports "Armenpress", citing the Azerbaijani service of radio "Liberty".
The former Republican member of the House of Representatives(Indiana state), in a letter addressed to James Fabian, the head of the US company which provides lobbying service to the Azerbaijani alliance, wrote:
“He has not communicated with me for a year.
Accept this letter as a resign from the post of the President of AAA".
The head of that group is Anar Mammadov, the son of the Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov.
The correspondent of the radio “Liberty” Carl Shrek mentioned that Anar Mammadov has spent more than $ 12 million on lobbyists since 2011 in the US.
It is noted that Anar Mammadov has large debts and as a result, is no longer able to "feed" the US senators.
