IS leader killed in Raka

The ongoing two-day armed clashes between the rival fighters of the group “Islamic State” take place in the Syrian city of Raka.

200 IS supporters of the local residents, members of the “Al Ansar” formation, took measures against the arbitrariness of foreign mercenaries, reports “Armenpress” citing the “Al Watan” independent newspapaer.

According to the newspaper, during the skirmish in the Rmeyla district, the ringleader of the Tunisian mercenaries Abu Ali at Tunisi was killed.

The fugitive government supporters taking the chance hang the Syrian national flags on houses and held demonstrations against the Islamic extremists.

Messages are received that the disturbances include Rmeyla, Daraia, Firdous, and Ajili Bakri districts.

In the “capital”city of “Caliphate” Raka, the IS administration proclaimed a general mobilization for the expansion of the revolt.

Aid is transported to the city from other parts of the province to establish order.

Enhanced control is held over the Raka entrance, reports TASS.
