Armenian soldier fatally wounded and killed in Azerbaijani grenade explosion

A soldier of Nagorno-Karabakh’s Defense Army was fatally wounded and killed in a grenade explosion targeting an eastern military unit in fresh skirmishes provoked by Azerbaijan.
Nagorno-Karabakh’s Defense Ministry’s press service reports that the serviceman is Sargis D Ohanyan, 19.
A probe has been launched into the incident.
The Defense Army shares the grief of the heavy loss, extending its condolences to the family and fellow servicemen of the deceased.
In the official statement released today, the Ministry says that the Azerbaijani troops shot the Defense Army’s military posts 2,300 times on the night of Saturday, releasing fire from weapons of different calibers, as well as a 60mm mine-launcher (16 mines) and an RPG grenade launcher (5 mines).
