Armenian President: “We are united today into a single fist”

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended the military funeral of Private Sasun Mkrtchyan, who was killed during military operations.

According to Serzh Sargsyan, what is happening now in Artsakh is another hardship for Armenian people.

“I am convinced that we will overcome this challenge with dignity. Blinded by hatred towards Armenians and drunk on oil, Azerbaijani government doesn’t understand that strength lies not in the number of tanks, but in the light coming from new generations in Artsakh and Armenia, and that light made us all unite today into a single fist that will come down on the head of enemy that threatens our safety.

Our thoughts go to our servicemen and officers at the borders. Our hearts ache at every perpetuation, but strengthen with the work of our heroes, giving us decisiveness and determination. We became one person today, and that unity will nourish our future generations. I am obliged to state that we don’t have illusions, we don’t have powerful protectors, but we have sympathy of just people around the world, and we have everything to defend our home, our homeland,” said Serzh Sargsyan.

“Dear Sasun, you can be sure that we will continue your and your friends’ holy cause,” added Armenian President.
