ICES chairman: The elections are legal
Armenian Presidential elections have passed in democratic struggle and coincide with the main claims of the international law. “International Center of the Electoral Systems” (ICES) gave such an evaluation to the Presidential elections in Armenia. The organization representatives have been in 134 electoral territories. Head of the ICES Alexander Cinker noted that they have noted that they have not given any bad evaluation to the electoral territories they have visited.
“The violations are too small and do not have any significant impression on the elections. Our observing mission considers that the elections are legal”, he underlined.
Head of the center also underlined that he liked Raffi Hovhannisyan’s announcement according which the nation has won.
“It is very good. Though the President got more than half of the votes but the announcement must be a yellow card for the President to make some conclusions”, he said.
