Vladimir Putin: "No one wants bloodshed in the region"
President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin announced that he rated Armenian and Azerbaijani readiness to solve Nagorno-Karabakh issue only in peace way, by negotiations. Vladimir Putin said about this during the joint press-conference with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. Russian President added that he had spoken about the Nagorno-Karabakh issue with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to Baku.
Vladimir Putin underlined that he was asked frequently what Russia would do in case of the war.
"One may think that we are getting ready for the war, but we must be ready for peace, as no one wants bloodshed in the region", Putin underlined.
According to "Armenpress", President Sargsyan underlined that he presented the details of the meeting with Ilham Aliyev in Vienna. Serzh Sargsyan also thanked Russia for its assistance in frame of the OSCE Minsk Group to the NK issue settlement.
