Armenian newspapers today: who will get mandate and positions in the new Government?

“Haykakan zhamanak” writes that the announcement by Naira Zohrabyan from the “Prosperous Armenia” does not tell exactly whether the party is ready to sign a coalition statement with the Republican Party of Armenia or not. According to some rumors two parties will not sign a coalition statement but will sign an agreement of cooperation. Anyway, today Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will lead the RPA session and the issue is supposed to be clarified now. Today it is supposed to clarify who will be the speaker of Armenian Parliament and who will be the Prime Minister of RA. So it is supposed to make public the new positions of the officials. According to the source Serzh Sargsyan and Gagik Tsarukyan will meet before the session. “Haykakan zhamanak” writes that the elder deputy will lead the first session of the newly-created National Assembly. It is hard to guess who will lead the session but it is obvious that the deputy will be from the RPA.

“Yerkir” newspaper writes that despite of the rumors in media according which Naira Zohrabyan may be nominated as Minister of Education and Science in Armenia she does not imagine herself in the Government. According to the newspaper she is likely to be the deputy speaker of Armenian Parliament. According to some information the issue was discussed with the leader of the “Prosperous Armenia” Gagik Tsarukyan and the latter agreed.

“168 hours” writes: “The conversations are going on according which leader of the “Heritage” party Raffi Hovhannisyan will refuse his mandate in the Parliament. So some changes are expected in the list.” According to the newspaper Hovhannisyan does not announce about the refusal yet as hot discussion is taking place in the party. It is hard to decide who will get the mandate. It is a big question whether Tevan Pogosyan, Stephan Safaryan, Anahit Bakhshyan or Armen Martirosyan will get this mandate.
