Armenian newspapers today: Stepanakert airport seems to work soon

“Hayatsq” newspaper writes that according to its confident sources Yerevan former Mayor Karen Karapetyan was in Yerevan for some days just after the elections. He was offered to get the position of the Armenian Prime Minister. But the former Mayor said that he did not going to become the PM for some 7-8 months. Armenian President and K. Karapetyan agreed and the latter left for Moscow again.

Chairman of the “Democratic Motherland” party Petros Makeyan told “Aravot” newspaper that Armenian National Congress did not discuss anything about taking mandates and there is no such decision. “If there was any such decision I would certainly be informed”. Makeyan considers it is right to take the mandate if the street struggle is going on at the same time.

As “Chorrord Inqnishkhanutyun” writes Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan started some lobbying for the newly-creating Government. He hopes that someone will listen to his opinion.

According to “Haykakan zhamanak” Stepanakert airport will work finally since summer of this year. Head of the NKR civil aviation department staff Tigran Gabrielyan informed the newspaper about this. According to him one flight will take place in a day for the first time. Flight direction is also known: Yerevan-Stepanakert-Yerevan.
