Armenian chess-player takes the 2nd place at Bad Wiessee open

Armenian GM Robert Hovhannisyan scored 7,5 points out of 9 and shared 1st-3rd places among 480 participants at the international open that was held in Bad Wiessee, Germany. Armchess.am informs about this.

By the tie-break Hovhannisyan took the second prize. The winner of the tournament was GM Alexander Lenderman (USA).

GM Hrant Melkumyan was only half a point behind the winner and took the 8th place.
