Parliamentarian elections are going on in Armenia

Parliamentarian elections in Armenia have started today at 8 o’clock. All electoral territories have been opened at 8 o’clock. There are 1792 electoral territories in the 41 communities of Armenia.

Eight parties and an alliance participate in the elections. They are Armenian Republican Party, “Prosperous Armenia” party, “Rule of Law” party, Armenian Revolutionary Federation, “Heritage” party, Armenian Democratic Party, Armenian Communists Party, “United Armenians” party and Armenian National Congress alliance.

138 candidates of deputies participate in the elections.

647 international and 31.451 local observers follow the elections. Total number of the electors is 2.484.003. The electoral territories will be closed at 20:00.

The central electoral committee has opened the information center.
