Another Armenian GM Sergey Kasparov (Belarus) scored 4,5 points out of 6 and took the second place among 56 participants at the open that was held in Bergamo, Italy. Kasparov was only half a point behind the winner – GM Kiril Georgiev (Bulgaria).

According to the same source Armenian WGM Evgeniya Doluhanova had an excellent victory at the round-robin tournament in Aarhus, Denmark. Having no defeat she scored 7,5 points out of 9 and solely took the first prize.
Representatives of Armenia, Russia, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark took part in the tournament.
