Armenian chess-player Maria Gevorgyan is the European Girl’s Champion

Armenian chess player Maria Gevorgyan took the title of European Girl’s Champion in U18 group at the Continental Rapid Championship that was held in Banja Vrucica, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Armchess.am informs about this.

Gevorgyan scored 5,5 points out of 6 and left her nearest rival behind by 1,5 points.

Maria also became European Girl’s Rapid Absolute Champion winning at the super final in which the winners of all age groups were taking part.

Besides, Gevorgyan became European Girl’s Vice-Champion in U18 group at Blitz Championship.
