Armenian GM Hrant Melkumyan beat GM Miso Cebalo (Croatia) in the second round of the open that is being held in Biel, Switzerland.

Melkumyan has scored 2 points and is leading together with a group of other participants.

GM Sergei Movsesian ended in a draw with IM Martin Kraemer (Germany) and now has 1,5 points.
