Austrian Ambassador and Armenian MFA discussed issues of bilateral interest

On August 27 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian hosted Austrian newly-appointed Ambassador to Armenia Alois Crautt (residence in Vienna) on the occasion of handing the copies of the credentials. Press and information department of the office of Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs about this.

Armenian MFA congratulated the Ambassador on the nomination and hoped that during his mission Armenian-Austrian relations would become stronger.

Ambassador Crautt thanked for the acceptance and ensured that he would do his best in order to strengthen ties between Armenia and Austria.

During the conversation the Minister underlined that Austrian President Heinz Fischer’s visit was a new stimulus for the bilateral relations.

Some issues on scientific and cultural cooperation were on agenda.

Armenia-EU relations and some other regional and international issues were discussed during the meeting as well.
