Today at 13:00, the President of RA and President François Hollande held a press conference in the courtyard of the Elysee Palace during which the two leaders welcomed the friendly relations that bind France and Armenia. Jean Eckian, french-armenian journalist from Paris informs about this.
Over lunch that followed, which were invited Charles Aznavour and co-Chairmen of the CCAF, Mourad Papazian and Ara Toranian, the head of the French state has confirmed that there would be a law criminalizing the Armenian genocide denial.
He stressed the need to ensure legal certainty for the statute to avoid censorship of the Constitutional Council.
