Armenian and Latvian Foreign Ministers met

On November 15 Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkeviches. Press and information department of Armenian MFA informs about this.
Welcoming the guest Minister Nalbandian remembered his last visit to Riga on January and thanked for the warm acceptance. He also expressed gratitude that his Latvian counterpart accepted the invitation and visited Armenia.

In his speech Minister Nalbandian underlined that Armenia rated high level political dialogue with Latvia and its continuing development. “We have had significant steps to the developments of the cooperation and the bilateral visits will assist it more”.

Edgars Rinkeviches thanked for the acceptance and noted that Latvia was eager to develop cooperation with Armenia and was ready for further steps.
During the meeting the sides referred to the Armenian-Latvian bilateral and multilateral cooperation and spoke about many issues.
Some regional and international issues were on agenda as well.

Minister Nalbandian presented the last developments of the NK issue peace settlement. Both sides underlined that the conflict could have only peace solution.
Iranian and Syrian conflicts were also touched upon.
