Armenia in 74th place on list of ‘Global Firepower’

The “Global Firepower” organization dealing with military research compiled a list of military power of 126 countries in the world, the Ermenihaber.am reports.

The ranking list is drawn up taking into account the number of active military personnel, the number of military vehicles, the number of reservists, the army, the spending on the military field.

Armenia occupies the 74th, Georgia 75th, Azerbaijan 64th place in the list.

The list of top ten countries with a preeminent military power is as follows:

2. Russia
3. China
4. India
5. England
6. France
7. South Korea
8. Germany
9. Japan
10. Turkey

8,848 tanks, 41,062 armored vehicles, 1.331 missile system are available in the US arsenal, the military budget is of $ 581 billion.

15398 tanks, 31298 armored vehicles, 3,793 missile system are available in the Russian arsenal, the military budget is of 46 billion 600 million dollars.

China has 9,150 tanks, 4,788 armored vehicles, 1,770 missile system , the military budget is of 155 billion 600 million dollars.

Turkey has 3,788 tanks, 7,550 armored vehicles, 811 missile system, the military budget is of 18 million 185 thousand dollars.
