P. Hayrikyan does not want to postpone the elections

“Let the people know that I will continue working as I used to work”. Candidate for President Paruyr Hayrikyan who was wounded yesterday and was operated today announced about this during the conversation with Aysor.am.

According to the candidate for President the doctors told him that a long-term treatement is needed, but he will do everything in order not to postpone the elections. 

“So we have two variants: to postpone elections for 15 or 40 days. I do not want any of them, as I also realize that we are in process now.But I have to accept the first version and the elections will be postponed with 15 days”, Paruyr Hayrikyan told Serzh Sargsyan during the conversation.

The candidate for President also added that Serzh Sargsyan expressed his anger towards the issue and ensured that the police will do everything in order to find out the criminals.
