P. Hayrikyan has applied to the Constitutional Court but he may take the application back

Candidate for President Paruyr Hayrikyan applied to the Constitutional Court to postpone the Presidential elections with two weeks and the application was accepted. Speaker of the Constitutional Court Hovhannes Papikyan informed about this Panorama.am.

Papikyan told that he would inform about the further developments in future.

“If the opposition candidates are united I will take my application back and we will have elections on February 18”, P. Hayrikyan announced about this during the briefing with the journalists after he handed the application.

Speaking about the incident Hayrikyan told that he tried to ignore the event and continue the campaign, but he did not manage.
Remind that the candidate for President P. Hayrikyan was shot in the center of Yerevan on January 31, in the evening, then he was operated.
